1. Introduction

This document sets out the combined legal notices governing the use of the website operated by RoI² Ltd under its trading name JPS Consulting (the “Site”). It is issued by RoI² Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17063040, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

It consists of three integrated sections:

  • Part A – Privacy Policy: how personal data is collected, used, retained, and protected.
  • Part B – Cookies Policy: what tracking technologies are used and which are deliberately excluded.
  • Part C – Terms of Use: the conditions under which the Site and its content may be accessed.

PART A

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit the Site or otherwise interact with us in connection with it. It is issued in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

A.1 Data controller

The data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR is RoI² Ltd, trading as JPS Consulting, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17063040, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

Contact points for privacy-related matters:

  • Primary: office@roi2.co.uk  /  +44 (0)20 4628 1821
  • Director: jp@spets.pro  /  +34 66 4100 216

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as there is no legal requirement to do so given the limited nature and volume of processing carried out through the Site.

A.2 Scope and character of the Site

The Site is strictly informational. It does not offer online purchases, user accounts, memberships, client portals, or any form of online service delivery. Its sole function is to describe the professional services offered under the JPS Consulting brand and to allow prospective clients to make initial contact.

As a direct consequence, the volume of personal data processed through the Site is deliberately minimised.

A.3 Categories of personal data processed

We may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact data: name, business email address, organisation, role, and any information you voluntarily include in an email or message sent to us.
  • Technical data: information automatically logged by the underlying web-hosting infrastructure – typically IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and timestamps – for the purposes of security, diagnostics, and infrastructure integrity. This data is processed by the hosting provider on our behalf.
  • Search Console data: aggregated, non-identifying data about how the Site performs in Google Search (for example impressions, clicks, and search queries). This data is aggregated by Google and does not identify individual users.

The Site does not knowingly process special category data (such as health, religion, political opinions, or biometric data) and should not be used to transmit such information.

A.4 Purposes and legal bases for processing

We process personal data only for defined purposes and only where we have a lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6:

  • Responding to enquiries – legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the Site – legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations – legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Measuring organic search performance via Google Search Console – legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). The data is aggregated by Google and is not used to profile individual visitors.

Our legitimate interests are the efficient operation of a professional consulting practice, including responding to business enquiries, protecting the Site from misuse, and understanding the general performance of published content.

A.5 Marketing and profiling

The Site does not carry out direct marketing, behavioural profiling, retargeting, or automated decision-making within the meaning of UK GDPR Article 22. No marketing pixels, advertising tags, or cross-site tracking technologies are deployed.

A.6 Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be disclosed to a limited number of processors acting strictly on our instructions, typically:

  • the hosting and/or domain provider of the Site;
  • the email service provider used to receive enquiries;
  • Google LLC, solely in relation to aggregated Google Search Console data.

Where a processor is located outside the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.

Please note that the sole director of RoI² Ltd is based in Spain. Access to personal data may therefore take place from within the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards, in a manner consistent with UK GDPR transfer requirements.

A.7 Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Enquiry correspondence: retained for the duration of the business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter, typically no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Hosting and security logs: retained in accordance with the hosting provider’s standard log-retention periods, typically measured in days or weeks.
  • Search Console data: retained in accordance with Google’s own retention practices; we do not store identifiable copies of this data.

A.8 Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • the right to be informed about the processing of your personal data;
  • the right of access to your personal data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where applicable;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us at office@roi2.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month, in accordance with UK GDPR Article 12.

A.9 Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures are proportionate to the limited volume and sensitivity of the data processed through the Site.

A.10 Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or the operation of the Site. The effective date at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated. Material changes will be signalled clearly on the Site.

PART B

Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy is issued in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. It describes the tracking technologies used by the Site.

B.1 Summary position

The Site is designed to minimise the use of tracking technologies. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media cookies, or any third-party tracking pixels.

The only third-party Google service associated with the Site is Google Search Console, which is verified using an HTML meta tag or DNS record. This verification mechanism does not set cookies in the visitor’s browser and does not track individual users.

B.2 What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when visiting a website. They are commonly used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, analyse behaviour, or deliver targeted advertising. PECR and UK GDPR require prior, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent for any cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the website.

B.3 Technologies used on the Site

Cookie / IdentifierTypePurposeDuration
google-site-verificationHTML meta tag (not a browser cookie)Verifies domain ownership for Google Search Console. Does not track users, set cookies, or collect personal data.Persistent (until removed from source)
Session cookie (if applicable)Strictly necessaryMaintains basic session state where required by the web host. No analytical or marketing function.Session only

No consent banner is required for the above, because (i) the Search Console verification mechanism does not place cookies on your device, and (ii) any session cookies, if present, are strictly necessary within the meaning of PECR and are exempt from the consent requirement.

B.4 Technologies that are NOT used

For clarity, the Site does not use:

  • Google Analytics or any other analytics cookies;
  • Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising pixels;
  • A/B testing, heatmap, or session-recording tools (for example Hotjar, Clarity, FullStory);
  • Cross-site tracking technologies or advertising identifiers;
  • Social media embed cookies beyond static, non-tracking links.

Should any of these change, this Cookies Policy will be updated in advance and, where required, a compliant consent mechanism will be implemented.

B.5 Controlling cookies in your browser

You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies at any time. Instructions are provided by the major browser vendors. Refusing strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain parts of the Site from functioning correctly.

PART C

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Site operated by RoI² Ltd under its trading name JPS Consulting. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

C.1 Nature of the Site

In particular, the RoI² model, its associated frameworks, causal architectures, diagrams, terminology, and documentation constitute proprietary intellectual property of RoI² Ltd. They are made available on the Site for informational purposes only.

You may view the Site and retain temporary copies in the ordinary course of browsing. You may not, without our prior written consent:

  • reproduce, republish, distribute, or publicly display the content of the Site;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the content;
  • use the content for commercial purposes, including training machine-learning or artificial intelligence systems;

C.3 Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by, any third party. You must not:

  • use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any associated systems;
  • introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code;
  • conduct automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of content beyond what is necessary for standard search-engine indexing;
  • use the Site to transmit unsolicited commercial communications.

C.4 Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Such links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site.

C.5 Disclaimers

C.6 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law, RoI² Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including without limitation any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

C.7 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoI² Ltd, its directors, officers, and agents from and against any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach by you of these Terms or any misuse of the Site.

C.8 Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. These Terms may be updated from time to time; the applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time of your use.

C.9 Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
